Welcome to Sunday Coffee.

This Sunday, we discussed the benefits of separating food and weight from diabetes care. Exploring your feelings about food, weight, and diabetes.

In the diagram below, you can see how these are three distinct concepts. Your relationship with food can be understood as how you feel about food and eating. For example, is it something that excites you or something that you dread? Your relationship with weight and diabetes is understanding how you feel about these two things. Many people group food, weight, and diabetes together, which can make understanding them a bit tricky. This makes sense and is completely normal because these topics are distinctly different.
