In this journey, I’ll be your guide—like a friendly coach, cheering you on. My name is Megrette Fletcher. I am a registered dietitian and diabetes care and education specialist with over 25 years of experience exploring weight-inclusive, non-diet ways to support diabetes prevention and management. I believe that better health doesn’t require focusing on weight, in fact, it can distract you from what truly matters: feeling well and enjoying food.
I’m so grateful you’re here, stepping into a journey that celebrates food as a connector—one that links us to our loved ones, to our culture, and to our truest selves. During these 8 weeks, we will explore how mindful eating and a weight-inclusive approach can bring you joy and ease, whether you’re managing diabetes, preventing it, or simply seeking a kinder relationship with food.
